Admitted to the bar in 1991 and has resided and practiced in New Jersey for his entire professional life. A graduate of Union High School, American University, and Pace University School of Law, Mr. Betzner has focused his practice on civil litigation-product liability, wrongful death, premises liability, auto injury, general negligence, workers compensation, securities arbitration, PIP arbitration, real estate and other transactions. His practice is founded upon the belief that communication between attorney and client is essential to obtaining a favorable outcome. In his spare time, Mr. Betzner enjoys skiing, he is a youth soccer coach and an avid Manchester United fan.

Patricia Velez is a paralegal at Betzner Law, PC, working in the area of civil litigation including personal injury, workers compensation, and PIP arbitrations. She obtained her Paralegal Certificate from Fairleigh Dickinson University and has been working with Gerald Betzner since 2006. Patricia assists in all aspects of file management including drafting pleadings, preparing claim petitions, arbitration demands, gathering and analyzing medical documents, and communicating with clients. Patricia is a NJ Notary Public and member of the NJ State Bar Association and the Paralegal Association of NJ. She is also bilingual in English and Spanish.
